A Natural Light Venue Unlike Any Other

The Atrium began as a garden center before transforming into one of the most unique wedding spaces in the region. Today, its signature glass greenhouse ceremony room is what sets it apart. Surrounded by white framing and soaring windows, the space is flooded with natural light in every season.

For couples who care deeply about photography (and how their day will feel in the moment), this kind of lighting is everything. It’s soft, flattering, and creates an atmosphere that feels both elevated and organic. Rain or shine, summer or winter, your ceremony glows.

An Indoor and Outdoor Wedding Venue with Flexibility

One of the biggest advantages of hosting your wedding at The Atrium is the flexibility. Couples can choose between indoor and outdoor ceremony options, and guests can mingle in the gardens during cocktail hour when the weather is beautiful.

The reception space is intentionally neutral - an empty canvas designed to be styled around your vision. Whether your aesthetic leans modern and minimal, romantic and floral, or timeless and classic, the space adapts effortlessly.

A Unique Pittsburgh Wedding Venue North of the City

Located just 15 minutes from Butler and about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, The Atrium offers that peaceful, slightly rural feel without asking your guests to travel hours away. It’s easily accessible from I-79, making it convenient for both local and out-of-town guests.

Couples who choose this Pittsburgh wedding venue often say they love the balance: close enough to the city for comfort, yet removed enough to feel like an escape.

1. Tell me a little bit about your venue — what makes it special?

The Atrium is our original venue in our family of 3 venues, The Atrium, Pinehall and The Woods at Eisler Farms. It used to be a garden center, but when Lowe’s, Walmart, and Home Depot came to Butler in the same year, the greenhouse became a wedding and event venue instead. While The Atrium hosts plenty of weddings, we also host other private events here such as showers and banquets. What makes The Atrium so special though is the glass greenhouse that is now our famous ceremony room. The natural lighting in this room is simply unmatched!

2. How would you describe the vibe couples can expect when they get married here?

Getting married at The Atrium means you really have an empty canvas as your venue for you to decorate however you would like. Our reception space is neutral, meant to be styled for each couple individually. We have indoor and outdoor ceremony options available, and the indoor ceremony room is always set up for easy access to flip an outdoor ceremony back to inside if the weather isn't cooperating!

3. What are some favorite features couples and guests always gush over?

The all-white & glass ceremony room is an absolute fan favorite, as is our outdoor gardens, where guests can mingle during cocktail hour!

Designed for a Seamless Experience

Mid-luxury couples aren’t just looking for a pretty space - they want an experience that feels organized, thoughtful, and smooth from start to finish. The Atrium delivers exactly that.

Each couple is assigned a dedicated venue coordinator who works with them throughout the year of their wedding. Catering and bartending are included in the wedding packages, which significantly simplifies planning.

The venue also offers:

  • A beautifully designed getting-ready suite with multiple hair and makeup stations

  • An extensive decor collection (centerpieces, linens, chargers, faux greenery, candles and more) included in packages

  • Optional add-ons like late-night fireworks for a memorable grand finale

So much is already handled for you - which means you can invest your energy and budget into the elements that matter most.

4. What makes your location unique for couples who want that peaceful rural feel without being too far from the city?

The Atrium is very conveniently located 15 minutes from Butler, 45 minutes from Pittsburgh and very easy to access from I-79!

5. Do you offer any getting-ready spaces/bridal suites for couples who book with you?

Yes! We have a beautiful getting-ready space with multiple hair and makeup stations, a large table for eating or getting ready, large mirrors to see yourselves in, hooks to hang dresses, and a mini bar area for any food or drinks!

6. What are the top amenities that couples love at your venue?

Our decor collection features tons of different centerpiece options, linen & napkin colors, charger options, faux greenery, floating candles and more. The fact that the decor is included as part of our wedding packages is by far the fan favorite amenity! Our couples are also all assigned a dedicated venue coordinator who will work with them the year of their wedding.

7. Do you have any favorite ceremony spots or photo locations on the property?

The glass greenhouse simply cannot be beat when it comes to the perfect photo spot at The Atrium!! But when the gardens are in bloom, the garden area is another gorgeous photo spot as well.

8. What does a wedding day timeline typically look like at your venue?

Our typical Saturday wedding timeline looks like a 4 pm ceremony start time, with cocktail hour from 4:30-5:30 pm and dinner at 6:00 pm. After dinner, it’s dancing the night away until 11:00 pm!

Why Couples Fall in Love with The Atrium

There’s something undeniably magical about saying your vows inside a glass greenhouse. The combination of architecture, greenery, and natural light creates a setting that feels intimate yet expansive at the same time.

If you’re searching for a greenhouse wedding venue that offers both indoor and outdoor options, thoughtful coordination, and a truly distinctive atmosphere north of Pittsburgh, The Atrium is absolutely worth touring.

It’s not just a venue - it’s an experience designed to let your day feel luminous, seamless, and entirely your own.

9. How far in advance do couples usually book with you, and do you host weddings year-round?

Yes, we host weddings all year long at The Atrium and couples typically book 1.5-2 years in advance!

10. Can couples bring in their own vendors, or do you have a preferred list?

Catering and bartending are part of our wedding packages here at The Atrium, but couples are welcome to bring in whoever they would like for all other vendors.

11. What’s one piece of advice you’d give couples who are planning a wedding here?

When you get married at The Atrium, so much of your wedding planning is already handled for you! Take full advantage of all that we have to offer so that you can save your wedding budget for the things that matter most to you!

12. What’s your favorite thing about hosting weddings at your venue?

I love a good fireworks show, so our late-night fireworks display add-on option is definitely my favorite part of hosting weddings here!
